Yields 1 to 2 servings
1½ cups plant-based milk
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Optional Toppings:
1 tablespoon sweetener (agave, brown sugar, or maple syrup)
1 teaspoon spices of your choosing (like cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice)
2 tablespoons chopped nuts
2–3 tablespoons granola
1 tablespoon coconut shreds
2 tablespoons raw sunflower seeds (no shells)
1.In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the milk to a boil.
2.Stir in the oats and frozen blueberries and reduce the heat to low.
3.Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4.Remove from the heat and serve with optional toppings.
